We want to partner with you to help your child grow—academically, socially, and emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. From Preschool through 8th grade, we equip and inspire hearts and minds believing that they will be leaders who will reach cities and influence nations, winning people for Christ!


Exploring our campuses is the best way to see the environment and Christ-centered learning experience of Monterey Bay Christian School. As you consider applying to, we ask that you review our admissions criteria below.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

STEP 1: APPLY ONLINE

Applying is easy using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies the submission process. 


A non-refundable application fee is required per application.

STEP 2: FAMILY INTERVIEW

Once an application has been received, our office will contact you to schedule a tour with our administration.


This is an opportunity for the current principal and preschool director to get to know your family.

STEP 3: ENROLLMENT

Accepted families complete and submit the necessary documents to enroll their child(ren) and begin preparing for the school year!


All the forms will be submitted through your online FACTS portal.

STEP 4: ASSESSMENT

Kindergarten students: This is a 20-minute assessment with a Kindergarten teacher.


3rd – 8th grade students: This is a half-to-full day assessment, in which the student will be using our Ignitia curriculum to see where they are in their academic journey.

  • nEW STUDENT APPLICATION

    Open Enrollment will start
    February 12, 2023. 

    NEW families will need to have completed Step 1 & 2 prior to enrollment (upon approval).

    Both current MBCS students and prospective students can apply during open enrollment for the 2023 - 2024 academic school year. 

  • CURRENT STUDENT RE-ENROLLMENT

    "Preferred" Re-Enrollment for current MBSC students will be from January 17- February 12.

    Only current MBCS students can re-enroll during that preferred/discounted window.

    Families who are returning will be receiving an email from our school's office. 

  • PRESCHOOL

    *NOTE: We are currently unable to accept or process new Preschool applications. Families with elementary (TK - 8th) siblings should follow up with the office for earliest availability. 


    Children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2023 are welcomed and urged to apply for the possible openings in the Transitional Kindergarten on the elementary campus.
